Texas Coastal Waters Nutrient Reduction Strategies Report

During the video presentation, Trustee staff will discuss the Texas Coastal Waters Nutrient Reduction Strategies Report (PDF, 144 pages) developed by the Trustee Implementation Group. The report is designed to address eutrophication and its effects on coastal waters as part of the 2016 Programmatic Restoration Plan. This report aims to advance the Programmatic Restoration Plan strategy called “Nutrient Reduction Restoration Type” by recommending the expansion of existing water quality programs dedicated to preventing, reducing, and mitigating nonpoint source nutrient runoff in partnership with stakeholders in target watersheds.
